Position Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented team member to build and assemble storefront doors and frames according to specifications and quality standards. This position is responsible for interpreting work instructions, performing accurate measurements, and utilizing hand tools to produce high-quality products in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. The role may also support other production areas as needed to meet operational requirements.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 5am-1pm

Overtime or a Saturday may be assigned as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble storefront doors and frames using hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and impact wrenches.
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Measure, calculate, and verify dimensions using fractions and decimals.
  • Process work orders according to production schedules and quality requirements.
  • Complete required production documentation and inspections.
  • Learn and identify aluminum profiles and product specifications.
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Identify material defects and submit re-cut work orders as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements, assembly instructions, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Proficiency using a tape measure and performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Safety-focused with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, cut-resistant gloves/sleeves, and steel-toe boots with metatarsal protection.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, reaching, and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and close visual acuity.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature variations.
