Job Description

• Perform hand assembly on post-surface mount circuit boards following detailed written instructions.
• Identify and assess the values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole components.
• Ensure correct orientation and polarity of components based on the printed circuit board.
• Read assembly drawings to identify part numbers for correct assembly.
• Have a basic understanding of IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards for assembly quality.
• Use basic and specialized equipment as required by management.
• Assist in training other assemblers and share knowledge on assembly processes.
• Take responsibility for the quality of individual work, demonstrating accuracy and neatness.
• Ability to work well with team members, offering support and suggesting improvements.
• Requirements: High school diploma or GED, experience in production assembly preferred, manual dexterity, good eyesight, and occasional light lifting.
