Responsibilities of the position:
1. Perform tasks in support of all activities related to Evaluation Platform
2. Perform quantitative analyses on materials following standard work procedures (i.e. Fire Assay, ICP-AES/-MS, XRF, Atomic Absorption, Spark AES/Ablation and other instruments)
3. Operate, calibrate, and maintain all laboratory equipment at its best conditions
4. Maintain good records and accounting of materials (samples and standards) used in RE Laboratory
6. Promote and implement workplace safety initiatives
7. Promote and implement Quality System Management initiatives
8. Participate in activities aiming at continuous improvement in RE Laboratory
9. Work inside high security area with metal-free policy in effect at all time
Requirements (Education, Work Experience and Skills):
1. Relevant studies in Chemistry preferred
2. Minimum 1 years work experience in assay laboratory. No prior experience are welcome to apply as training provided
3. Work experience in analytical laboratory, quality verifications and certifications industries
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills
5. Must be able to work in confined spaces and metal-free environment
6. Practical experience in Fire Assay, ICP-AES, and XRF will be a plus
7. Ability to work independently and accurately
8. Knowledge in safe handling of industrial chemicals
9. Experience with SAP
