To provide a range of clinical responsibilities and projects related to the social and emotional wellbeing of ASMSA students.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or

Educational Psychology

  • Current Arkansas license/eligibility must be obtained within 6 months of hire

date in one of the following helping professions: Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider; Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Senior Psychological Examiner.

  • Experience in student support programs, with a preference for familiarity with

gifted and talented student populations

  • Knowledge of computer software programs.

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to establish quick rapport with

students.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Strong verbal and writing skills.

  • Willingness to perform relevant duties as assigned.
