
The ASL Language Facilitator/Aide supports deaf and hard-of-hearing students in the educational setting by providing communication access and language support throughout the school day. This role works under the direction of the classroom teacher, intervention specialist, teacher of the deaf, and/or educational team to help students access instruction, participate in classroom activities, and develop receptive and expressive language skills using American Sign Language (ASL).
Work Days: All Student Days on the BCSD School District Calendar
Hours: 6.5 hours per day- 7:15 am- 2:15 pm (30 minute unpaid lunch)

This position is typically based in a K�12 school setting and may require movement throughout the school day, including classrooms, cafeteria, playground, gym, and community-based instructional settings.
