In this position, you take the helm of digital design and ATPG activities, ensuring robust implementations and superior test quality. Are you ready to drive technical excellence and define sustainable development methodologies that power the next generation of automotive innovation?

  • You take over the technical leadership for the digital design domain in ASIC projects, coordinating specification, development, and integration across all stakeholders and making key technical decisions.
  • ATPG activities are planned, managed, and coordinated by you to achieve the defined coverage targets throughout the entire project lifecycle and to establish a robust test strategy in close collaboration with design and test engineering.
  • Through detailed analysis of test patterns, silicon data, and defect signatures, you identify root causes and derive corrective actions to improve product quality.
  • You are responsible for the ATPG flow, ensuring stable operation, continuous improvement, and the integration of new tools and methodologies.
  • By developing and optimizing methodologies and automation solutions (e.g., using Python, Tcl, or shell), you increase efficiency and standardization while coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure effective technical alignment.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed university studies in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable subject
  • Experience and Knowledge: several years of experience in digital ASIC development, including top-level integration, ideally as a Digital Lead in project environments; strong expertise in ATPG, test methodologies, coverage analysis, and corresponding ATPG tools and flows; experience in failure analysis using test patterns and silicon data; solid understanding of digital verification and interface validation; strong scripting skills (Python, Tcl, or shell); experience in methodology and flow development in digital and ATPG domains; experience in coordinating external development partners and cross-functional teams; knowledge in digital signal processing
  • Personality and Working Practice: you take responsibility for overall success, set clear priorities and use resources effectively; set common goals above individual interests and have a positive effect on your environment; you recognize and promote individual strengths within your team; you use challenges as an opportunity for further development and shapes sustainable learning
  • Languages: business fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus
