Advanced Electronics & Semiconductor Solutions (AESS) organization has been established in AUMOVIO to develop and manufacture semiconductors in a fabless model to fulfilling strategic internal semiconductor demands.

As Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer (m/f/diverse) for AESS (Advanced Electronics & Semiconductor Solutions) you specify, design, and implement functional circuit blocks to meet the specifications of an IC. You have the opportunity to work on AUMOVIO’s diverse innovative automotive applications and find optimized solutions for their specific needs. Special care must be taken during design to meet the stringent automotive requirements. Willingness to support the layout of the circuits you designed is desired.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

  • Transistor level circuit design
  • Designing, simulating, and testing analog and mixed signal circuits
  • Design documentation
  • Design validation
  • Developing test procedures
  • Collaborating with digital design, layout, verification, test, and application teams

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics or comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant design experience, preferably in BCD technologies
  • Advanced knowledge in design of mixed signal blocks
  • Knowledge of Cadence design environment
  • Understanding of semiconductor backend production (testing, assembly, failure analysis)
  • Very good English language skills (both written and spoken), German language skills desirable
  • Ability to take initiative and to communicate effectively
  • Eagerness to grow and develop
