Job Functions:

• Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare all food items for the daily menu and specials in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Ability to read and interpret abbreviations on food order tickets.
• Responsible for the correct food presentation of each plated item.
• Restock items as needed throughout shift.
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
• Serves food items to guests as requested.
• Ensures thorough communication between shifts.
• Remains up to date on all Departmental Policies and Procedures.
• Understands that schedules are subject to change.
• Complies with all departmental rules, side work assignments, and departmental procedures.
• Breaking down and storing of daily food and supply deliveries.
• Ensures proper FIFO procedures are followed when storing daily deliveries.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• One to two years related experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of Asian cooking (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese)
• Commitment to excellence, high standards, and good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
• Possesses the ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
• Must possess a cooperative, helpful and friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays. Understands that schedules are subject to change.
• Frequent walking, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and kneeling.
• The Team Member must frequently lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work within the following conditions: wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise.

Prior experience is preferred as well as a proven track record demonstrating sound judgment
