Department Profile (IMS)
Morgan Stanley Asia Wealth Management (AWM) is an integrated business within Institutional Securities. Leveraging the Firm’s global institutional securities and wealth management footprint, and its renowned investment banking, capital markets and investment management capabilities, AWM builds holistic relationships with clients and provides them with sophisticated advice, service and products.
Investment Management Services (IMS) is responsible for AWM’s managed solutions and fee-based activity. Fee-based products include mutual funds, hedge funds, private markets and discretionary/advisory mandates. The IMS business encompasses product origination and due diligence, product approval committee, product launch coordination, product documentation, marketing, advisory and trade processing, after-sales support and product monitoring.
Based in Hong Kong, IMS is seeking a highly self-motivated professional to join its Advisory Portfolio Management (APM) team.
About the Role
The Advisory Portfolio Management (APM) professional will collaborate closely with Investment Representatives (IRs) to manage the advisory portfolios of its ultra-high net worth clients. The role interacts directly with clients on a consultative basis to deliver a wide range of market insights and advisory services. This role will provide support to the following core functions: (i) client advisory and account monitoring (ii) fund sourcing and origination (iii) transaction management (iv) business development, further elaborated below.
