Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Responsible for tax strategy, compliance, and risk management across Asia (including China and other key operating jurisdictions). Partner with business and management to provide tax advisory, ensure compliance with local regulations, and optimize tax efficiency across the region. Lead complex tax projects and digital transformation initiatives to drive business value through efficient compliance management.

• Manage tax compliance (CIT, VAT, and other applicable taxes) across Asian jurisdictions. Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with local laws.
• Develop and implement regional tax strategies to optimize tax position. Support tax-efficient structuring in business operations, supply chain, and transactions.
• Lead finance related projects, e.g. Tax compliance, employee reimbursement system implementation, etc.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks across the region. Manage tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
• Provide tax advisory to finance, business, and supply chain teams.
• Support M&A, investments, and new business initiatives from a tax perspective.
• Monitor tax regulatory changes across Asia and assess impact. Provide updates and recommendations to management
• Drive AI adoption, build tax knowledge graphs; conduct training to enhance team efficiency through human-machine collaboration.
• Lead and develop regional tax team members. Manage external advisors and tax consultants

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Taxation, Accounting, or related fields. CPA/CTA is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of tax experience, preferably in multinational or regional roles, experience in ERP implementation, M&A, or customs/transfer pricing is a plus.
• Experience in automotive components or manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations in China and Asia
• Strong tax planning and risk management capabilities
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
• High sense of ownership and compliance mindset
