Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to design and create retail store environments, mainly on Shiseido Prestige brands, to achieve desired consumer experience, business objectives and amplify brand identity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Store Planning and Execution

• Create and develop store designs & merchandising display themes, according to market plans and global direction.
• Store planning and design curation of branded retail environments.
• Conceptual development for Visual Merchandising and direction for the APAC region.
• Review vendor full package prior to construction.
• Creation of detail design package for Point of Sales Environments and to ensure quality and consistency in execution.
• Apply Store Design (SD) direction and guidelines for regional in-store execution and deployment.
• Conduct counter audits and post install reviews to ensure merchandising guidelines are adhered to.
• Supports ad-hoc in-house design projects like Store designs, Pop up stores and promo sites and Branding promo elements
• Participate and support key store executions and openings.
• Design and visualize outpost and events spaces to support brand marketing activities.
• Involved in designing planograms for the region.

Partner Development and Team Building

• Provide clarity and direction to production partners for design details and store construction.
• Manage external suppliers and production teams for production, including prototyping, timeline and cost management.
• Work with agency partners to ensure built elements are aligned with brand guidelines.

Business Building

• Conduct market visits and keeps tab on current competitive market merchandising trends.
• Review and assess regional production quotes planning.
• Manage brand asset library, updates server, maintains clear content storage for future reference.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree / Diploma in architecture design, industrial design or interior design.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficient in Vectorworks, AutoCad, Sketch Up (Full works).
• Drafting, 3D & 2D, space planning and photography experience is an advantage.
• A team player with minimal supervision, has an eye for detail, and versatile with a willing to learn attitude
