
Anglophone South School District is seeking Educational Assistants to provide support to students in a variety of educational settings. Working under the supervision of a teacher, Educational Assistants play a key role in supporting student learning, development, and well-being while helping to foster positive and inclusive school environments.
Responsibilities include assisting teachers with instructional activities, supporting individual students and small groups, supervising students, preparing learning materials, maintaining records, and reinforcing instructional, social, and behavioural goals as directed by the teacher. Educational Assistants may work in classrooms, laboratories, shops, and other learning environments.
Depending on student needs, duties may also include providing assistance with mobility, transportation to and from school, personal care, feeding, hygiene, dressing, toileting, and other specialized supports, including care of catheterized students where required.
