Anglophone South School District is seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals to join our team as Casual School Bus Drivers. Casual Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school while adhering to provincial regulations, Department of Education standards, and District policies.

Due to the nature of casual assignments, successful candidates must be available to accept work on short notice and should reside within ASD-S boundaries or within reasonable proximity to the assigned Education Centre. Applicants living outside the ASD-S region should explain how they can meet this requirement.

Responsibilities include operating a school bus on assigned routes, conducting required vehicle inspections, maintaining student safety and appropriate conduct, and performing related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from High School or possession of a GED equivalent
• Valid New Brunswick Licence endorsed for School Bus Operation and Air Brakes
• Successful completion of the School Bus Driver Training and Orientation Program provided by the Department of Education
• Possession of a recognized and current Standard Frist Aid Certificate
• Ability to read and write effectively
• Physical capability to safely perform the duties associated with the position
• Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and student well-being
