Job Description

We’re hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated regional route operating between Ohio and the Chicago area.

This position offers a consistent loop, weekly home time, no-touch freight, and a $1,350 weekly true-up for drivers who meet availability and performance requirements.

Position Overview

• Dedicated regional Ohio-to-Chicago loop
• Home Saturday and Sunday for a 34-hour reset
• Potential to take an occasional 10-hour break at home during the week, depending on freight
• Approximately 3 loops per week
• Potential for a 4th loop and additional earnings when hours of service allow
• Average approximately 1,800 miles per week
• No-touch freight
• Approximately 50–60% drop and hook
• Approximately 40–50% live unload
• Consistent regional freight

Weekly Pay

• $1,350 weekly true-up for drivers who meet eligibility requirements
• Equivalent to approximately $0.75 per mile based on 1,800 weekly miles
• Additional accessorial pay
• $12.50/hour detention pay after the second hour
• $100/day layover or breakdown pay
• Additional performance bonus opportunity

Performance Bonus

Drivers can earn up to an additional $0.03 per mile based on safety, mileage, and productivity.

• Eligibility begins after the first full month of employment
• Driver must be an active company driver at the time of payout
• Bonus eligibility is based on applicable performance requirements

Equipment

• 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias and Kenworths
• Well-maintained company equipment

Trainer Opportunity

Experienced drivers who qualify can increase their earnings by becoming a trainer.

Trainer compensation includes:

• Additional $250 per week while training a student
• Additional $0.05 per mile on all miles over 1,875 per week
• Up to $400 Safe Student Bonus per student upgrade
• Potential for $20,000+ in additional annual earnings

Examples of additional weekly trainer earnings:

• 1,875 miles: $343.75
• 2,000 miles: $350
• 2,500 miles: $375
• 3,000 miles: $400

Trainers still receive the $250 weekly trainer pay even when they do not reach 1,875 miles.

Trainer eligibility:

• Minimum 1 year of OTR experience
• At least 30 days with the company
• Safe driving record

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of recent OTR tractor-trailer experience
• Must meet applicable company safety and hiring requirements
• Must be able to meet the availability requirements of the dedicated account
