Job Description

A consistent lane, predictable weekends at home, and no-touch freight.

We’re hiring Class A drivers for a regional fleet running a dedicated loop between Ohio and the Chicago area. This is a good fit for drivers who want the consistency of a dedicated account while still earning regional miles each week.

Drivers average approximately 1,800 miles per week and are home Saturday and Sunday for their weekly reset. Sign on bonus available!

Only 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience is required.

What This Route Looks Like

The fleet operates primarily between Ohio and Chicago, with drivers typically completing 3 loops each week.

When freight and available hours permit, drivers may have the opportunity to complete a 4th loop for additional earnings.

Schedule & Home Time

• Home Saturday and Sunday
• 34-hour reset at home each week
• Occasional opportunity for a 10-hour break at home during the week, depending on freight
• Approximately 1,800 miles per week

Freight

• 100% no-touch
• Approximately 50–60% drop and hook
• Approximately 40–50% live unload
• Regional dedicated freight

Earnings

Drivers who meet the weekly eligibility requirements receive a $1,350 weekly true-up.

At approximately 1,800 miles per week, the true-up is equivalent to roughly $0.75 per mile, before applicable accessorial and performance-based compensation.

Additional pay opportunities include:

• Detention: $12.50/hour after the second hour
• Layover/breakdown: $100/day
• Additional earnings when a 4th loop is available
• Up to an additional $0.03 CPM through the performance bonus program

Weekly True-Up Eligibility

The $1,350 true-up is based on meeting the account’s weekly availability and performance requirements.

Drivers must:

• Remain available for dispatch during the workweek, excluding the required 34-hour reset
• Accept dispatched loads
• Maintain appropriate trip planning and PTA
• Avoid driver-related service failures
• Maintain a safe driving record with no preventable accidents
• Be willing to reseat when necessary if assigned equipment is placed in shop status

If a driver is unavailable for part of the week or does not meet the applicable requirements, compensation will revert to the standard pay structure for that week.

Performance Incentive

Drivers may earn up to an additional $0.03 per mile through the Drive to Thrive program.

Bonus earnings are based on safety, mileage, and productivity. Eligibility begins after the driver's first full month of employment, and the driver must be active at the time of payout.

Trucks

The fleet operates 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias and Kenworths.

Experienced Drivers: Trainer Program Available

Drivers interested in increasing their earning potential may qualify to train student drivers after meeting the program requirements.

While actively training, trainers receive:

• $250 additional weekly pay
• Additional $0.05 CPM on all miles above 1,875 per week
• Up to $400 Safe Student Bonus per student upgrade
• Potential for $20,000+ in additional annual earnings

Example additional weekly trainer earnings:

1,875 miles — $343.75

2,000 miles — $350

2,500 miles — $375

3,000 miles — $400

The $250 weekly trainer pay still applies while actively training even if the driver does not reach 1,875 miles.

Trainer qualifications:

• At least 1 year of OTR experience
• At least 30 days employed with the company
• Safe driving record

Basic Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Ability to meet the account's schedule and availability requirements
• Must satisfy applicable company hiring and safety standards
