Job Description

About Procter & Gamble Consumer Health

P&G Consumer Health delivers trusted, science-backed solutions—such as Neurobion, Vicks, Evion, Sangobion, and Nasivion—that improve everyday health for billions of consumers.

Role Overview

As an Artwork Planner based in India, you will lead and execute the end-to-end artwork supply chain across APAC, Middle East, and India. You will act as the single point of accountability orchestrating projects across Commercial/Brand teams, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Packaging Development, Pre-press Agencies, and Global/Regional Manufacturing Sites (including Contract Manufacturing Organizations).

We are seeking a high-caliber professional who demonstrates Strong Leadership, Operates with Discipline, and applies Ownership & Systemic Thinking to drive complex, multi-market artwork initiatives from brief to print.

What Success Looks Like in this Role

  • Flawless On-Time Delivery: Delivering 100% of critical artwork milestones on schedule, ensuring zero product launch delays, line stoppages, or inventory write-offs across the APAC, Middle East, and India supply networks.
  • Right-First-Time (RFT) Quality: Driving near-zero defect rates and upholding strict regulatory compliance, ensuring approved artwork is technically print-ready on the first pass.
  • Proactive Matrix Orchestration: Becoming the go-to partner who anticipates bottlenecks early, successfully balancing commercial urgency with regulatory rigor and manufacturing constraints.
  • High-Performing Vendor Ecosystem: Holding prepress agencies and print suppliers accountable to strict SLAs, improving cycle times, and eliminating recurring quality issues.
  • Continuous Operational Excellence: Using systemic problem-solving (RCA/CAPA) and digital tools (Power BI, workflow automation) to standardize workflows and permanently eliminate non-value-added lead time.

Key Responsibilities Built Around Core Competencies

  1. Strong Leadership
  • Cross-Regional Project Direction: Lead multi-functional project teams across multiple time zones on Artwork delivery meeting critical milestones.
  • Proactive Decision-Making: Monitor and resolve Artwork workflow bottlenecks across brief creation, regulatory text sign-off, and prepress proofing. Mobilize contingency actions with agencies, regulatory teams, and printers to secure on-time delivery of approved artwork without compromising compliance.
  • External Partner Leadership: Drive accountability with prepress houses, creative adaptation agencies, and print vendors, ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), quality benchmarks, and turnaround times.
  1. Ownership & Systemic Thinking
  • End-to-End Supply Chain Integration: Connect the dots across the entire product lifecycle—understanding how an upstream regulatory change impacts technical line trials, plate-making lead times, plant scheduling, and market distribution.
  • Continuous Systemic Improvement: Eliminate process inefficiencies using standard problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, CAPA). Standardize artwork workflows across APAC, Middle East, and India to shorten lead times and eliminate recurring errors.
  1. Operates with Discipline
  • Right-First-Time (RFT) Execution: Follow Artwork standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to deliver near-zero defect rate, and upkeep Data integrity.
  1. Strong Collaboration Skills
  • Matrix Navigation: Bridge conflicting priorities across functions with diverse agendas: Commercial/Brand (speed-to-market), Regulatory Affairs (stringent compliance), and Manufacturing Sites (operational efficiency and lead times).
  • Cross-Cultural Agility: Communicate clearly and persuasively across diverse geographic teams, adapting your style to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners across Regions.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Packaging Technology, Graphic Communications, Pharmacy, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: 2–6 years of experience in artwork management, packaging planning, print production, or supply chain project management.
  • Industry Background: Strong preference for experience within regulated consumer healthcare, OTC pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or medical devices or FMCG business managing multi-country footprints.

Required Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated Leadership: Proven ability to influence cross-functional peers and senior stakeholders without formal reporting lines.
  • Systemic Thinking: Ability to anticipate downstream operational and financial impacts of packaging changes across complex supply networks.
  • High Operational Rigor: Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and comfortable managing dozens of complex, concurrent project timelines.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of commercial printing technologies (flexo, offset, rotogravure) and packaging formats (cartons, foils, blisters, labels).
  • Systems Proficiency: Experience with PBI and AI technologies are highly preferred
