As our Artwork Manager, you’ll help shape the packaging and visual identity of thousands of Coles Own Brand products across multiple categories each year. You’ll manage packaging and artwork projects from concept through to production, ensuring every execution delivers strong shelf presence, exceptional print quality and a consistent customer experience.
Working closely with Own Brand Marketing, Product Development and Product Technologists, alongside external creative and artwork agencies, you’ll influence packaging outcomes, bring new ideas to life and help customers navigate the aisle and choose the right products for them.
Manage end-to-end packaging and artwork projects from concept through to production
Lead design briefs and provide clear creative direction across internal teams and external agencies
Review and approve artwork against brand guidelines, print requirements and Coles quality standards
Partner with creative agencies and coordinate food photography where required
Manage multiple projects, priorities and commercial timeframes
Own project budgets, challenge costs and drive high-quality outcomes
You’ll bring proven experience delivering packaging and artwork projects within FMCG, retail or a consumer product environment, with a strong understanding of the journey from initial concept through to final production.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can take ownership, get things moving and build strong relationships. Curious and proactive, you’ll be confident challenging constructively while bringing others along with you.
Proven packaging and artwork experience from concept through to production
Strong project management capability across multiple concurrent projects, timelines and budgets
Technical knowledge of packaging materials, artwork processes and print production
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and external creative or artwork agencies
Experience within FMCG, retail or consumer packaging
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
