Job Description

The adjunct faculty members will be responsible for teaching a range of courses alongside contributing to curriculum development, student advising, and the overall academic mission of the College.

Teach courses.

  1. Prepare course syllabus, plan lessons and assignments.
  2. Assess students’ progress by grading assignments, papers, exams, and other work.
  3. Advise students about which classes to take and how to achieve their goals.
  4. Work with colleagues to develop or modify the curriculum for a degree or certificate program involving a series of courses.
  5. Stay informed about changes and innovations in their field.
  6. Invigilating examinations.
  7. General administration works in relation to teaching and assessments’ quality assurance.
  8. Supervising projects/thesis for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  9. Any other duties as reasonably required by management.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in a related field (Illustration, drawing, visual arts, graphic design, design, fine arts, studio art, education art), from a recognized institution for Faculty teaching undergraduate program. PhD degree in a related field is desirable.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge and experience of using LMS (preferable).
  • Demonstrate leadership aligned with AUBH core values of integrity, engagement, excellence, and desire to make a difference
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with peers, leadership, and external constituents.
