REQ14700 Artist (Open)

To perform duties in accordance with the artistic intent of Artistic Department of House of Dancing Water show.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform duties in accordance with the artistic vision and directives of the House of Dancing Water show.
• Collaborate with the ensemble of the artistic colleagues as regards training and rehearsal sessions.
• Comply with the directives of the Artistic Department, as concerns the acquisition of complementary skills and capacities as required.
• Responsible for the stage performance of various high-level acrobatic acts, including but not limited to high-difficulty disciplines such as high diving, aerial hoop/straps, multiple rotations, and contortion.
• Maintain the level of technical proficiency in his/her specialty for which he/she was engaged.
• Demonstrates professional conduct as concerns of punctuality and attend trainings and rehearsals.
• Maintain the physical fitness levels and technical standards required for the performance, subject to regular professional assessments and ongoing appraisal by Coaching and Performer Wellness.
• Adopt and adhere to all health, safety and security procedures.
• Respect entirely the confidential nature of all information related and entrusted to him/her in any form.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in high-level professional productions, with a background in professional acrobatic troupes, circuses, or related performing arts ensembles.

Education

• College or related experience

Skills / Competencies

• Possess exceptional physical strength, flexibility, coordination, and the ability to work under pressure at heights.
• Ability to swim with a high level of comfort in the water.
• Ability to work an extended schedule throughout the creation and rehearsal periods.
• Willingness to define, practice and conform to safe working procedures.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English and/ or Chinese language.
