
The Reuse & Repair Analytics team helps ASML understand how returned machine parts can be repaired, reused, or written off in the most effective way. As a growing team, we provide insights into repair success rates, process performance, data quality, and operational trends across the sector. This internship supports our ambition to apply agentic AI to simplify work, improve decision making, and increase automation across the organization. You will contribute to real improvements that help teams work more efficiently and embrace new technology.
In this internship, you help the team explore and validate agentic AI opportunities within the Reuse & Repair domain. You work with emerging AI capabilities and translate user needs into prototypes that demonstrate clear value. You support the team in scaling these solutions by creating guidance, documentation, and examples that make adoption easy.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Identify opportunities where AI agents remove repetitive tasks or support decisions.
Translate user needs into clear and structured agent requirements.
Prototype and test simple AI agents using Copilot Studio, Agent Builder or Python
Document findings, user feedback, and improvement recommendations.
Create onboarding materials, demos, and practical guidance for users.
Track agent performance using basic data analysis tools.
Collaborate with analytics experts, process stakeholders, and Copilot ambassadors.
This is bachelor’s or master’s internship ( non-thesis) with a minimum duration of 5 months. It requires an investment of 32-40 hours per week, out of which ~3 days per week are onsite in Veldhoven. The start date is projected at the end of August 2026.
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business analytics, data science, artificial intelligence, computer science, or a related field.
Have strong interest in agentic AI, automation, and digital problem‑solving.
Bring basic coding skills (Python or low‑code tools) and foundational data analysis abilities.
Are a strong communicator and are able to translate technical topics into simple language for different stakeholders.
Are curious, proactive, and eager to explore new ways of improving workflows.

You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
