The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education and a commitment to fostering creativity and artistic skills among students in the preparatory age group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the curriculum suitable for preparatory stage students.
- Encourage creativity and self-expression through a variety of artistic mediums and techniques.
- Assess and monitor students’ artistic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
- Organize exhibitions and displays to showcase student artwork and achievements.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art across the curriculum and support holistic student development.
- Manage art supplies and ensure classroom safety at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching art to preparatory stage students.
- Strong skills in various art techniques and mediums.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate students.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Immediate availability to start the position.
