We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about art and dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic skills in students within a bilingual or French curriculum environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver comprehensive art lessons that align with the French curriculum and support bilingual education.
• Encourage students to explore various artistic mediums and develop their individual artistic expression.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback that fosters artistic growth.
• Create an engaging, inclusive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and creativity.
• Organize exhibitions and school events to showcase student artwork.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate art with other subject areas and support holistic education.
• Manage classroom materials efficiently and ensure a safe environment for all students.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities related to art education and bilingual instruction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching art to students following the French curriculum or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of diverse art techniques, media, and art history.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage classroom resources responsibly.
• Commitment to student safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding standards.
