Egypt Education Platform is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Art Teacher for the academic year 2026-2027 at GEMS British International School of Madinaty This position calls for an individual who is passionate about arts education and is committed to fostering creativity and artistic expression among students. The Art Teacher will play a pivotal role in developing a vibrant and innovative art program that inspires students to explore their artistic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that meets the educational standards and fosters creativity in students.
• Facilitate engaging and interactive art lessons using a variety of mediums and techniques suitable for diverse learning styles.
• Provide individualized support to students, encouraging them to develop their unique artistic voices and skills.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide artistic development.
• Organize art exhibitions and showcase student artwork, promoting a culture of appreciation for the arts within the school community.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate art concepts across the curriculum and enhance cross-disciplinary connections.
• Maintain a safe and well-organized classroom environment, ensuring proper management of art supplies and equipment.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to stay informed about current trends in art education and pedagogy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
• Valid teaching certification in art education is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching art in an educational setting, particularly in a primary or secondary school environment.
• Strong proficiency in various artistic techniques and mediums, as well as knowledge of art history.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire students through effective teaching methods.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with the school community.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and creativity.
