
We are looking for a Art Manager/Lead Art Owner to manage a team of 14 Art Owners supporting World of Tanks game production. This role combines people management, resource planning, production coordination, and process improvement to ensure the Art Owner's team operates effectively and the art pipeline runs smoothly.
Art Manager/Lead Art Owner will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders - Art Direction, Art Management, Production, Project Management, and Design. Art Manager/Lead Art Owner will oversee workload, balance scope against capacity, support delivery planning, grow team capability, and drive cross-functional alignment. This role requires a strong understanding of art production, excellent communication skills, and an openness to innovation, including AI-driven workflow improvements.
Art Department Manager
Partner with production and art leadership on resource planning and proactively address bandwidth or staffing risks
Ensure clear priorities, ownership, and escalation paths for the Art Owner's team
Improve task handoff, delivery flow, and coordination across the Art Owner's function
Help Art Owner's team to identify and remove bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth art production delivery
Act as a key point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders - Producers, Art Directors, Art Managers, Project Managers, and Design
Strengthen stakeholder alignment, team collaboration, and communication transparency
Review and improve Art Owner's-related processes, workflows, and best practices
Drive innovation through smarter ways of working, including AI-enabled tools and automation where relevant
Lead a team of Art Owners
Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and manage performance through quarterly/annual goals and regular reviews
Monitor Art Owner's workload and utilization, balancing scope and capacity across the team
Coach and mentor the team in terms of their long-term skills development
3+ years of experience leading or managing teams of at least 6 people in game development, ideally in a AAA environment
Strong people management skills, including coaching, feedback, and performance reviews
Experience in resource management, workload balancing, and production planning
Proven ability to work closely with art teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Solid understanding of art production pipelines and delivery workflows
Experience improving processes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and alignment skills
English skills (B2+), written and spoken
Familiarity with AI tools, automation, and/or workflow innovation in game production
Full-time employment
Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Poland at the time of application
This role is also open in our offices in Nicosia, Belgrade, and Vilnius
Employment Contract (umowa o prace)
The salary range for this role is 20000-37000 PLN gross monthly (The final salary within the range will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and performance during the interview. Please note that this salary range applies to Poland; for other locations, it might be different.)
