The Art Director is a senior creative leadership role reporting to the Senior Director, Content and Creative, within CARE USA’s Marketing team. This position is responsible for directing the visual development and execution of integrated campaigns, brand initiatives, and high-visibility marketing and fundraising deliverables.
Acting as a strategic execution partner, the Art Director translates creative strategy defined by senior leadership into scalable visual frameworks, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact across channels and platforms. The role holds defined authority over campaign-level art direction and visual execution, design standards within assigned initiatives, and the supervision of creative contributors and external partners.
The Art Director serves as a key creative decision-maker within defined project and campaign scope, balancing brand integrity, audience impact, and operational realities while enabling efficient production and strong creative outcomes. Under the direction of the Senior Director, this role contributes to the evolution of CARE’s visual expression and supports the operationalization of the Communications Center of Excellence and emerging creative technologies.
