Full Time Armed Security Officer, be able to obtain an OPOTA , $21.00 hourly, Sunday 6am-2pm Monday-Thursday 10pm-6am.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for professional security officers that will protect Aegis Protective Services’ clientele and their staff, visitors, and property in a variety of industries, ranging from industrial complexes, hospitality, healthcare, education, and more.

Job-Specific Details

Location: Wilmington, OH

Salary: $21.00 an hour.

Schedule: Part-time Third Shift - Friday through Sunday 10PM-6AM.

Flexibility with hours is required. Weekend availability is required.

Note: The ability to obtain an OPOTA license is required.

Security Officer Responsibilities

• Observe and Report: Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises, conducting regular inspections to identify and deter potential security risks, illegal activity, or breaches. When needed, complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
• Diligence: Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and take appropriate action.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and concerns.
• Collaboration: Work together with law enforcement agencies as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles. Armed roles are typically 21+ years of age.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Aegis Protective Services will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
