Peralta Associates & Defense is seeking Full-Time & Part-time Armed Security Officers to join our rapidly expanding team in the Orange County, CA area.

Job Summary

• Conduct continuous observation of client premises and promptly report suspicious activity.
• Monitor perimeter areas, and complete accurate incident reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional good customer service while adhering to all safety, security, and site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Identify potential hazards or criminal activity.
• Report suspicious behavior or security violations to supervisors or law enforcement as required.
• Prepare accurate written reports documenting observations, incidents, and surveillance activities.
• Issue verbal warnings, detain or make arrests when applicable, and coordinate with law enforcement during security breaches or criminal events.
• Adapt to diverse environments and changing conditions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card required.
• Power to arrest certificate required.
• Appropriate Use of Force certificate required.
• Required remining 32hours of certification.
• Valid California Firearms License required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
