MSS Security is currently seeking Casual and Full-Time Armed Security Officers to join our team at the Reserve Bank of Australia, located in Craigieburn. In this high-profile role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property.
The pay rates for this role are covered by the site based EBA.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure the premises remain secure and free from incidents.
Monitor and control entry points, verify identification, and conduct security screenings to prevent unauthorised access.
Accurately document any incidents or security breaches, ensuring they are communicated to the appropriate personnel.
Undertake the day-to-day operations of the control room, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure timely action.
Enforcing up to date Site Standing Orders and communicating changes of policy, procedures, and operating requirements.
Ensuring that all incidents are reported through the correct channels and the appropriate actions are taken.
Ideal candidates will have:
Strong understanding of various CCTV, access control systems and investigation is highly desired.
High quality report writing is essential.
A professional demeanour and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
The physical capability to conduct regular patrols and remain at static posts for extended periods.
Requirements:
Full Australian working rights.
Current Victorian Security Licence with the control room subcategory.
Certificate III in Security Operations.
Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
Current Victorian Firearms Licence (or willing to obtain).
Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain).
Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
White Card (or willing to obtain).
