Job Description

Transport documents, large amounts of currency, and packages between different branches of a bank or to other locations when necessary. In this role, you may drive a secure vehicle-typically an armored truck-and ensure each parcel is hand-delivered to the correct person. This job requires extreme trustworthiness, so maintaining your personal reputation is essential to success, depending on the needs of the bank.

Responsible for:
-counting ATM deposits and withdrawals.
-Balancing, increasing and decreasing ATM's.
-Keeping accurate ATM spreadsheets and reporting any outages to the Branch Manager and Accounting Department.
-Maintain security and cleanliness of all ATM's.
-Handle all interoffice mail.

Picks up and drops off large amount of currency between all 6 branches, and interoffice mail.

Maintains organization of funds and a neat and tidy storage area. Counsels and interviews customers via telephone on proper claim procedures for ATM and debit card transactions. Assists branch staff in completing required claim forms. Monitors outstanding requests against timeline requirements for provisional credit or completion of the investigation.

Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies. Creates and/or posts accounting entries by journal voucher to customer accounts and the General Ledger system. May maintain a non-cash posting cash box.

Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

Other Skills

Other Skills Able to use database, spreadsheet and word processing software suites to record and maintain records, with customer contact as necessary via form correspondence. Able to learn and retain knowledge in depth for all debit card and ATM adjustment function; to follow Visa and ATM network regulations and comply with FRB Regulation E to limit potential liability for the Bank.

Physical Requirements

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including, ATM, telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise, as well as minimal outdoors.
