Job Duties

Under general supervision, the ESG Accountant is responsible for supporting payroll accounting, reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation activities for the assigned operation. The role prepares payroll analysis and operational forecast reports, reviews payroll-related Balance Sheet accounts and submits reconciliation information in a timely manner. Additionally, the position monitors and follows up with external vendors regarding payroll platform issues, ensuring proper resolution and process continuity.

The role also supports the review and configuration processes with ADP related to union structures and manager reporting requirements, while ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local labor and accounting regulations. The position requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers to identify and resolve operational and accounting discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, mandatory
  • Intermediate-Advanced English level preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, payroll accounting, financial analysis, or related areas.
  • Previous payroll experience is not mandatory; however, exposure to payroll processes or payroll-related accounting activities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Experience preparing reports, analysis, and supporting operational forecasting activities.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve accounting or operational discrepancies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with external vendors or service providers is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with systems such as ADP, payroll platforms, or ERP systems is considered an advantage.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Availability to attend onsite activities when required, despite the position being primarily home-based.
