The Area Technical Manager (ATM) will successfully manage technical requirements across a defined geographical region. The ATM is responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective level of technical control within their area, ensuring material costs are maintained within company targets and supporting customer needs through the development and maintenance of Heidelberg Material's market leading material portfolio.

Using NDAC systems and reporting tools constantly monitor and maintain product and raw material performance.
Ensure all products maintain accordance with relevant European and British Standards, QSRMC regulations, IMS and theHeidelberg MaterialsQuality / Technical System Manuals.
React to issues in a manner that minimises risk and cost to the business.
Generate and submit required reporting to the business timetable.
Ensure cost effective product manufacture.
Investigate andassistin the resolution of customer quality complaints and non-conformities
Provide technical training for new department employees and customers as directed.
Proactively identify areas of quality improvement and communicate to area management.
