This role will support both Hotel Bardo Savannah and the opening journey of Recess Hotel & Club—offering a unique opportunity to contribute to an established, award-winning property while helping shape the future of one of Savannah’s most anticipated hospitality projects.

About the role

We are seeking an Area Senior Weddings & Events Executivetolead the strategy and sales efforts for all wedding-related business atHotel Bardo Savannah and Recess Hotel & Club. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, cultivating relationships, and positioningbothpropertiesas a premier wedding and social destination within the market.

As a commercial leader, theArea Senior Wedding & Events Executivewill focus on business development, client engagement, and strategic partnership building while ensuring alignment with the brand’s positioning and business goals. This role requires strong relationship management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support overall commercial success

What you'll do

• Lead all wedding sales efforts, including prospecting, client engagement, and conversion of inquiries into confirmed business

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow wedding revenue in alignment with overall property goals

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective wedding clients throughout the sales and contracting process

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and operational teams to ensure alignment on positioning, pricing, and business strategy

• Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including planners, vendors, and industry contacts

• Monitor and analyze sales performance, pacing, and conversion metrics to inform strategy and improve results

• Partner with Revenue and Sales leadership to ensure pricing and positioning remain competitive within the market

• Support post-event follow-up, feedback collection, and relationship building to drive repeat and referral business

• Uphold operational and financial discipline, including contract accuracy, billing coordination, and cost awareness

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in wedding sales, event sales, or luxury hospitality

• Proventrack recordofdriving weddingor social event revenue

• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality sales and client relationship management

• Experience working cross-functionally within a hotel or venue environment

• Excellent communication, organizational, and client management skills

• Ability to manage multiple clients, timelines, and priorities simultaneously

• Familiarity with CRM and sales management systems preferred
