In the position of Area Sales Manager, you report to the Swedish Sales Manager. As our new colleague at Rockpanel, you will meet competent and helpful colleagues with many years of experience from several countries.

What you would be doing

Over many years, Rockpanel has built strong relationships and stable sales, and is therefore looking for an independent, goal-oriented sales professional who can represent Rockpanel in the southern and south-eastern region. You will do this by proactively developing project opportunities and taking responsibility for specifications and sales in Sweden. It will be your responsibility to inspire architects, structural engineers and contractors in the project market, and to create strong and developing cooperation with building material merchants in the distribution channel.

Your main partners will be architects, contractors and larger building material merchants, but may also include housing developers, real estate developers and municipalities. Your goal is to ensure that Rockpanel’s solutions are used in as many construction projects as possible, and to follow the sales process from initial inspiration and project meetings in the specifying phase through to the specified façade product and solution being sold and installed on the building – with a focus on increasing awareness and growing sales.

The region

It is preferable that you live in southern or south-eastern Sweden and take responsibility for your district in southern Sweden. However, competence is prioritized over geography, so do not hesitate to apply regardless of where in the country you live. You will work from your home office and travel from there to customers.

Who we are looking for

With strong communication skills and an interest in building technology and design, you will sell the right solutions to customers. You are active and proactive in the sales process, with the task of establishing contact with new customers and developing and strengthening relationships with existing customers. This could, for example, involve entering into stock agreements with new building material merchants or being chosen as the preferred façade material in a construction project together with a main contractor.

You must be able to think independently and present the right customer solutions, while also having the patience required for long-term projects and processes. You are self-driven, can communicate with different target groups at their level, thrive with a high degree of freedom in your day-to-day work, and take advantage of the opportunity to be part of the company’s future development. At the same time, you are a team player who achieves sales results by being a credible and professional partner and colleague who creates added value.

You are perceived as – and are – an energetic, motivated and committed colleague and partner who ensures security and quality for the customer throughout the entire process.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience and insight into the construction project industry, with a network of architects and contractors
  • A degree in construction or architectural design would be preferred
  • Experience traveling to customers and presenting design/solutions
  • Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written, at business level
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Technical knowledge of structures, façades or other design solutions is an advantage
