Area Sales Manager North (m/f/d)

Northern Germany - Full Time

SpotLIGHT of the job

As an Area Sales Manager North you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across Northern Germany by managing a defined OEM customer portfolio while supporting Project & Solution Sales activities.

You will build strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and develop tailored solutions in the fields of lighting, controls, emergency lighting, and software. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will help shape sustainable business growth and strengthen Tridonic's market presence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a defined OEM customer portfolio in Northern Germany
• Drive customer acquisition and identify new business opportunities
• Manage the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing
• Develop relationships with purchasing, engineering, and management stakeholders
• Support Project & Solution Sales activities and develop solution opportunities
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to create customer-focused solutions
• Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and opportunity pipelines
• Represent Tridonic at customer meetings, industry events, and trade fairs

Skills & Experience

• Commercial or technical education / degree with strong affinity for technical B2B products, systems and software solutions.
• Several years of experience in technical B2B sales; OEM sales, solution sales, presales or business development experience is preferred.
• Experience with long sales cycles, project-based opportunities and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong customer orientation, negotiation skills and closing drive, combined with consultative selling and presentation capability.
• Technical understanding of lighting, controls, or electrical systems
• Experience working with CRM tools and sales pipelines
• Fluent German and good business English skills
• Willingness to travel within Northern Germany and DACH region when required.
