You will lead the sales organization within an assigned geographical area in Indonesia. You will build team capability, coordinate field execution in line with brand strategy, uphold sales stewardship and governance, strengthen HCP engagement, and deliver the area sales KPIs.

  • Lead an area organization typically comprising 6-10 Medical Representatives.
  • Coach and develop team members through field coaching, peer support, formal training, and individual career and capability plans.
  • Plan and coordinate territory deployment, HCP coverage, and field activities with Principal Representatives, Senior Medical Representatives, and Medical Representatives, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with brand strategy.
  • Govern territory and area sales execution in accordance with Sales Stewardship, company policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct joint field visits to coach representatives, validate execution and HCP coverage, and improve detailing quality and customer engagement.
  • Convert HCP, market, and competitor insights into practical area actions in partnership with Brand Operations and Medical & Technical Affairs.
  • Own area KPIs and sales targets by translating area potential into territory strategies, call plans, target allocation, sales pipelines, and monthly or quarterly forecasts.
  • Build an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing team culture that supports business delivery and people growth

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Pharmacy, Biology, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of field experience engaging HCPs, with a demonstrated record of achieving sales targets and improving territory or team performance; hospital or ethical-pharmaceutical sales and prior people leadership or coaching experience are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, the healthcare industry, the Indonesian hospital environment, hospital-channel field execution, and relevant procurement or tender pathways.
  • Demonstrated capability in people development, field coaching, performance management, and building accountable, high-performing teams.
  • Strong customer relationship management, selling, negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen, including territory planning, budget stewardship, resource allocation, and understanding of sales drivers and return on investment.
  • Strong analytical and digital capability, including use of CRM, Microsoft Office, sales analytics, reporting, pipelines, forecasts, and field insights to prioritize opportunities and drive area performance.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia / relevant local language, with good working proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work effectively across Sales, Brand Operations, Medical & Technical Affairs, and other cross-functional partners.
  • High standards of stewardship, governance, ethics, and compliance, with understanding of applicable pharmaceutical promotion, privacy, and anti-bribery requirements.
  • Must be open and willing to relocate and work across Indonesia based on business needs.
