As an Area Sales Manager for Gas Insulated Switchgear High Voltage Breakers at Hitachi Energy, you will play a key role in driving business expansion across the North American market. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How you'll make an impact
Drive sales growth across new and existing customers
Deliver technical expertise on GIS high voltage breaker solutions
Lead customer presentations, webinars, and product seminars
Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned to customer needs
Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning sales strategies
Analyze market trends, competitors, and business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
Travel to customer sites and support project and specification development
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development
Experience in the electrical or power systems industry preferred
Strong technical knowledge with ability to present to diverse audiences
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
Willingness to travel 30% or more
