The Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Bihar will be responsible for driving business growth across the assigned territory for GE HealthCare’s Imaging portfolio, including CT, MRI, PET-CT, Cath Lab, Ultrasound, and other multimodality solutions. This role will focus on market development, customer engagement, channel partner management, and achieving order and revenue objectives across Bihar. The ASM will work closely with hospitals, diagnostic centers, channel partners, application specialists, and internal commercial teams to strengthen GE HealthCare’s market presence and expand customer relationships in the region.

Drive sales growth and market development for GE HealthCare Imaging products across Bihar territory.
Manage and grow business for CT, MRI, PET-CT, Cath Lab, Ultrasound, and multimodality solutions within assigned geography.
Build strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centers, doctors, administrators, and channel partners.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market penetration and visibility across the territory.
Manage indirect channel partners and support distributor performance to achieve commercial objectives.
Develop territory business plans aligned with regional growth priorities and operational targets.
Achieve assigned order and revenue goals while maintaining healthy sales pipeline visibility.
Partner with modality, applications, service, and commercial teams to drive customer engagement programs and technical discussions.
Conduct regular customer visits across Bihar districts to understand customer requirements and competitive landscape.
Support tender management, commercial negotiations, and sales closure activities.
Maintain strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor activity, and healthcare infrastructure developments in the region.
Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates as required by the business.
Collaborate closely with Regional Managers, Business Managers, and cross-functional teams to execute growth strategies.
Represent GE HealthCare professionally while delivering a high level of customer experience and commercial excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or related technical discipline.
Minimum 7+ years of sales experience in medical devices, healthcare equipment, diagnostic imaging, or related healthcare industry.
Strong experience in market development and business growth within assigned territories.
Prior experience managing healthcare customers and channel partners in Bihar market.
Experience working in medical imaging equipment such as CT, MRI, PET-CT, Cath Lab, or related modalities.
Strong understanding of Bihar healthcare ecosystem and regional market dynamics.
Fluency in local language(s) and ability to engage effectively with regional customers.
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
Strong commercial acumen, customer relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently in a highly field-based role.
Experience handling multimodality imaging portfolios.
Prior experience working with large healthcare institutions, diagnostic chains, and government accounts.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Self-driven individual with strong ownership mindset and execution focus.
Ability to identify emerging market opportunities and drive strategic territory growth.
Experience working in matrix organizations or multinational healthcare companies.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Familiarity with tender-based sales processes within healthcare industry.
