Veolia has a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our team based at our Launceston facility (7250). This is the perfect opportunity for a B2B sales professional wanting a hybrid business development/account management role with a strong emphasis on maintaining current clients and expanding the business offerings. What you'll be responsible for

• Working with our existing portfolio of clients in the Northern Tasmanian region to further understand their businesses so that you can retain and grow Veolia’s revenue and market share
• Working within a defined territory to develop and win new clients to add to your account portfolio
• A willingness to engage with the business and community sectors to promote the Veolia brand
• Working with your sales team and operations staff to understand exactly what you can offer and what solutions you may be able to present as options
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting short-, medium- and long-term opportunities while consistently achieving revenue, margin and KPI targets
• Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively identify opportunities to renew agreements, strengthen relationships and introduce additional Veolia services

What you'll need to be successful

• Proven experience within a previous B2B sales and/or account management role - highly regarded
• Experience in developing new business
• A track record for maintaining and developing relationships with high level stakeholders
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to resolve issues, make decisions and engage with clients, major stakeholders and the community.
• Experience in CRM maintenance such as Salesforce is desirable
• Fully maintained and reliable vehicle with valid drivers licence
