Reports to: Head of Sales (New Build)

Location: South East Region

Hours: 40

Salary: Competitive

We’re looking for a driven and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to drive growth and develop new-build opportunities across High-Rise, Build to Rent (BTR), Social Housing and Regional Private Housebuilding.

This is a highly visible role where you'll be responsible for driving profitable growth, developing key customer relationships, and securing new business opportunities across your territory. What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and expanding relationships through effective stakeholder engagement
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and market engagement
  • Managing a sales pipeline to deliver order intake and revenue targets
  • Qualifying opportunities based on commercial viability, strategic fit and operational capability
  • Developing detailed project briefs and working closely with estimating teams to create competitive proposals
  • Presenting solutions, proposals and value propositions to customers and key decision-makers
  • Managing the customer journey, ensuring effective communication between the customer and internal teams
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful project delivery
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records to support forecasting, planning and reporting
  • Providing market intelligence, competitor insights and business performance updates

Who we’re looking for:

  • Proven B2B sales experience across both products and services
  • Strong understanding of new-build construction sales
  • Service within the KBB (Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom) sector
  • Successful track record in both new business acquisition and account development
  • Experience managing long sales cycles, tender processes and complex opportunities
  • Knowledge of high-rise/BTR, social housing, and private development markets is advantageous
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Customer focused with an organised and target-driven approach
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel as required
