About the Job:

Develop team members to take diverse roles in the organization • Team Performance - Monitor and appraise performance of the team. Ensure effort parameters and required processes are met by the team. • Capability Development - Create an open and enabling work climate. Assess field staff’s detailing and selling skills during joint calls and provide feedback and on-the-job coaching for improvement. Train field staff in organizing lecture programs and customer support programs, prescription monitoring, chemist audits and any new initiative. Identify and develop field staff for diverse responsibilities in the organization Financial • Sales Target Achievement - Achieve area sales targets • Ensure cost effective coverage of the markets through proper monitoring of all effort parameters and judicious deployment of resources. • Inventory Control - Control inventory and outstanding/receivables and take appropriate corrective actions. Control overall expense. Process • Sales Operations - Assist the ZSM in preparing accurate 12-month rolling sales forecast. Implement product strategies and promotional plans and including introduction of new products. Implement disease management and other customer support programs with guidance from Product Management team. • Territory Planning - Guide and control Field Force in promoting products as per such JOB DESCRIPTION Date: (dd/mm/yyyy) [Standard Job from Job Catalog] Page 2 / 3 treatment maps. Assign sales targets for each territory with guidance from Zonal Sales Manager. Set up sales territories, deploy Field Force and assign sales targets. • Process Adherence - Ensure collection of complete data on target doctors, maintenance of call records and updating of doctor database. • Market Intelligence - Monitor competitors’ activities, territory reorganization, product promotion and provide regular feedback to ZSM and PMT. Conduct customer surveys-Potential mapping ,perception mapping(non prescriber survey) Implements the processes for ensuring the distribution of targeted products. • Implements the processes for getting the stock and sales statement of the assigned distributors for automated secondary sales system. • Ethics and compliance- Ensure a culture of ethical way of doing business. Customer • Brand Building - Organize Educational programs for HCP and TRADE. • Relationship Building - Maintain cordial relations with Medical-Chemists Associations and Drug Control authorities. Identify, develop, utilize and maintain KOLs in various therapeutic segments for the promotion of products. • Maintain good industrial relations with Rep unions; organize periodic meetings; Maintain liaison with distributors, monitor coverage and services to retailers and maintain smooth business operations.
