On behalf of our client, one of the leading companies in the FMCG industry with over 100 years of presence in Greece, we are looking for a passionate Area Sales Manager
The successful candidate will be the driving force behind new business growth — spotting opportunities, building powerful client relationships, and taking our brand to the next level in Northern Greece
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing clients and develop new business opportunities by selling the company's beverage products.
- Conduct market research and analysis to develop strategies for approaching clients and increasing sales.
- Create and present commercial offers and proposals for new business agreements.
- Participate in negotiations and pricing discussions with clients, aiming to secure agreements that benefit the company.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, enhancing customer loyalty.
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
- Accurately record and track communications and agreements via the CRM system.
- Continuously monitor the market and competitors, adjusting strategies and identifying new opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales within the production or distribution of FMCG products, preferably in the beverage industry.
- Experience in managing client accounts and sales processes within the food and beverage sector.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels within the company and with clients, aiming to secure profitable agreements.
- Strong knowledge of negotiation processes and the ability to influence customer decisions positively.
- Experience using advanced CRM systems for recording and tracking sales and customer relationships.
- Ability to organize and manage daily tasks effectively while paying attention to detail.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings and site visits.
- Ability to research and analyze the market and potential future business opportunities.
- Possess a positive and resilient attitude that helps build strong relationships not only with clients but also with team members.
