Our Branch Banking Group is looking for experienced professionals to join uswith the role of Area Sales Director

In this role, you will lead and manage sales initiatives within a defined market segment, area, or region. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, tracking performance metrics, and supporting the Branch Banking sales team to drive client acquisition and expand the banks customer base.

What the role will entail

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets, including identifying new business opportunities and analyzing market trends
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing support, guidance, and training to the sales team
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and monitor sales performance
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring daily activities are executed properly and targets are met
  • Coach, mentor, and train sales team members, while also being responsible for hiring and training new personnel

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the banking industry, ideally in Branch Banking, with a strong track record as a Branch Manager or in a comparable sales leadership role
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and successfully managing sales teams
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques and best practices, and the ability to adapt them to different markets and customer segments
  • Excellent communicator and collaborates well with managers/ supervisors to effect change
