Our award-winning client is seeking an Area Rotating Machinery Engineer to join their team. Our multi-billion dollar global chemical company seeks a superstar Rotating Equipment Machinery Engineer to join our team in South Bend, IN! In this critical role, you'll ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of rotating machinery across our Western Region plants. You'll be the go-to expert, providing technical leadership and driving continuous improvement

Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification and implementation of solutions for rotating machinery issues across all regional plants.
• Ensure a culture of safety and compliance with all standards across the region.
• Lead and support short, medium, and long-term maintenance, improvement, and relief projects.
• Implement best practices and drive efficiency through Six Sigma.
• Develop and deliver technical training for regional personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Engineering (preferably Mechanical).
• Minimum 7 years of experience with industrial rotating equipment (5+ years in operations and engineering).

Proven expertise in:

• Troubleshooting and maintaining rotating machinery (compressors, turbines, pumps, etc.)
• Root Cause Analysis and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Regulatory and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and achieve results independently.
• Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Bonus points for:

• Level II vibration analysis certification.
• Air Separation experience and knowledge.
• CMMS experience (SAP PM preferred).
• Professional qualifications and licensing.
