Qualifications
FCA is seeking a Local Area Representative for New Haven County to engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes across the region. This is a priority staff position, as several well‑established Huddles in the county need dedicated local leadership to support current ministry and expand future opportunities.
The Area Representative will serve on the front lines of ministry — building relationships, leading discipleship efforts, supporting student‑led Huddles, and partnering with local churches, schools, and community leaders.
This role requires support‑raising, meaning the individual hired will be responsible for developing a team of financial partners to fund their yearly ministry budget. FCA provides training, coaching, and resources to help staff build and sustain their support team.
Ideal candidates are bold, clear communicators who can confidently share FCA’s Vision, Mission, and Values with coaches, athletes, parents, church staff, and community stakeholders. They should be passionate about discipleship, energized by relational ministry, and eager to see God move in the lives of coaches and athletes throughout New Haven County.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives… one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by engaging, equipping and empowering others to be disciples who make disciples.
