El Consejo Noruego de Refugiados (NRC) está en búsqueda de un profesional dedicado, resiliente y dinámico para asumir el rol de Area Programme Manager para Venezuela quien tendrá como responsabilidad liderar y garantizar, en coordinación con el Gerente de Área (AM) y bajo la línea técnica del Gerente de Programas País (HoP) , la implementación de calidad de los programas de NRC en la nueva Area Operativa La Guaira, supervisando directamente al personal de programa de las competencias ICLA, Educación, Protección, CCCM, Shelter, IM y MEAL y asegurando que la respuesta se ejecute conforme a las estrategias, estándares técnicos y requisitos de calidad de NRC y de los donantes.

Requisitos de educación y experiencia
Tipo de contrato: Contrato laboral nacional en Venezuela o internacional. Duración 6 meses, con posibilidad de renovación de acuerdo a presupuesto y desempeño
Compensación/beneficios: De acuerdo con las escalas salariales de NRC, sus términos y condiciones esta posición es Grado 8.

Porcentaje de viajes: 40% a terreno

The Latin American (LA) region faces multiple complex emergencies, including the internal and regional impact of the crisis in Venezuela, the humanitarian consequences of the armed conflict in Colombia, and the pervasive high levels of generalised violence in the North of Central America and in Mexico. These conditions produce some of the highest forced displacement numbers in the world. According to UNHCR, there are over 15 million displacement-affected people, including some 7,4 million Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) across NRC country programme coverage in Latin America. The LA region also witnesses record numbers of transcontinental population movements generating significant protection risks as people are obliged to cross borders often through routes where conditions are dramatic. Restrictive asylum and migration policies also create flows of deportees and returnees, who struggle to re-integrate in their communities and often face violence, retaliation, discrimination, and exclusion. Those phenomena are accelerating across the region.
La prolongada crisis económica, social y política de Venezuela ha provocado que unos 7 millones de sus nacionales hayan dejado el país. Al mismo tiempo, dentro del territorio nacional otros 7 millones de personas necesitan asistencia humanitaria y/o de protección. Esta situación se agravó por el doble sismo (magnitudes 7.2 y 7.5) ocurrido el 24 de junio de 2026 en la franja costero-central del país (La Guaira, Caracas, Miranda), que dejó miles de personas fallecidas, heridas y desplazadas, y decenas de sitios de alojamiento temporal habilitados.
NRC está presente en Venezuela desde 2005, trabajando en Información, Orientación y Asistencia Legal (ICLA), Agua, Saneamiento e Higiene (WASH), Educación y Protección. Como parte de la respuesta a la emergencia, NRC ha conformado el Área 9, una nueva Área Operativa creada específicamente para la respuesta al terremoto, en la que se está desplegando un portafolio programático multisectorial (ICLA, Educación, Protección, CCCM y Shelter).
