Area Operations Support Administrator

Your main responsibilities

This role can be located in any field office across Area East.

Act as the primary day-to-day liaison between Field Operations (Area Level) and the Business Service Center (BSC) as it relates to Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Application and Payroll activities and issues.

• Act as the primary liaison between Field Operations and BSC Finance Managers to coordinate daily activities and resolve issues related to billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash application, and payroll.

• Establish and maintain a closed-loop communication process that ensures alignment between internal stakeholders and the customer.

• Initiate and manage billing activities across all business lines, including creating and modifying invoices to support and supplement BSC billing operations.

• Facilitate working sessions between billers and Field Operations (New Installation and Modernization) to address process gaps, resolve issues, and improve workflow efficiency.

• Coordinate and participate in regular collection meetings with BSC to monitor outstanding balances and drive resolution of accounts receivable issues.

• Monitor accounts payable vendor holds and partner with Field Operations to ensure timely workflow completion and issue resolution.

• Collaborate with the BSC Payroll team to manage and resolve IUEC-related payroll escalations.

• Oversee cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely identification and resolution of financial process issues impacting billing, AR/AP, cash application, and payroll.

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction within financial operations workflows.

• Prepare and deliver monthly KPI reports and performance updates to Area AFC, SVP, and BSC leadership.

Preferred
• 3+ years of support for middle management or departmental administrative functions.
• 5+ years in an administrative assistant role or similar.
