Job Description

The Area Manager will align with the company mission, vision, and values, and work individually within their assigned territory to build relationships with referral sources and generate qualified prospects for AccordCare that will result in meeting branch admission goals. Area Specialist will document their business development activities through AccordCare’s customer relationship management system. Area Specialist work with branch director and area business development leadership to ensure their admission targets are met using KPI’s as a guide.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily external sales calls and maintain consistent contact
  • Dedicate approximately 75% of working hours to outside sales and business development activities.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and healthcare partners
  • Meet or exceed referral and admission goals as established based on territory potential, branch objectives, and company targets.
  • Ensure all referral requirements are complete prior to admission and promptly communicate any missing information to Intake or Clinical staff.
  • Prepare and submit required weekly and monthly reports to management
  • Submit accurate, itemized monthly expense reports by the end of each month, maintaining expenditures within budget.
  • Required to participate in marketing events outside standard business hours, occasionally at night or on weekends.
  • Develop and update territory sales and marketing plans based on current market data, referral trends, and competitive activity.
