Your Next Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for an Area Manager to join our team within our Ingenia Lifestyle Portfolio. Ingenia Lifestyle offers modern, land lease communities designed for over 50s seeking independent, vibrant living with quality amenities and a strong sense of connection.
Reporting to the Head of Operations for Ingenia Lifestyle Qld, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Developing Lifestyle Communities across northern Qld - helping teams create safe, welcoming environments where residents feel connected and cared for, with regular travel and overnight stays required across Qld to provide on the ground support. This role is ideally located in Bundaberg.

In this Role, You’ll
• Drive positive resident engagement and sentiment across all Ingenia Lifestyle Communities, ensuring an industry leading lived experience with your passion for customer obsession
• Day to day management of all operational assets under your portfolio
• Drive profit performance for the portfolio & ensure enhancement of the capital value of assets under management
• Ensure a consistent and harmonious engagement with residents, as well as building relationships with key local/state-based stakeholders
• Ensure the successful delivery of resident engagement programs and internal promotional activities
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders planning & developing greenfield & in market communities, including sales, development, marketing, design and acquisitions
• Actively drive positive relationships with external stakeholders, agencies, suppliers and contractors
• Lead by example – support, coach, motivate and engage the team to be high performers and reach company and team goals

You’re Likely a Match If You
• Have proven leadership experience managing multi-site teams.
• Have strong skills in conflict resolution, decision-making and building partnerships.
• Are experienced in P&L management, budgeting and cost control.
• Have a background in Land Lease, Retirement Living, Property or Hospitality (preferred).
• Have a people-first mindset; empathetic, adaptable and resilient under pressure.
• Enjoy travelling to communities across northern Qld (this role will hold operational responsibility across Carins, Townsville, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg and Yeppoon with frequent travel required).
• You’re someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
