Area Manager, Security Services
Goodwill Columbus | Columbus, OH
Pay: Starting at $50,000
Schedule: Full-time, salaried | Rotating shifts (some weekends and on-call as needed)

As an Area Manager, you will lead teams that deliver high-quality security services to our community while coaching and supporting team members to grow and succeed.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will help your team do great work while creating a positive, inclusive environment:
• Lead and coach teams of officers and supervisors across multiple sites
• Support employee growth by training, giving feedback, and meeting team members where they are helping them to overcome challenges and build skills
• Build strong client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for assigned locations
• Plan schedules and staffing to meet contract needs and ensure coverage
• Keep operations running smoothly by managing supplies, equipment, and daily workflows
• Solve problems quickly and support your team when challenges come up
• Help manage budgets and keep operations on track
• Ensure safety by promoting safe work practices and a clean environment
• Review timecards and payroll details for accuracy
• Be available for on-call needs or urgent situations

Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in security field

What to Expect

• The role includes standing, walking, bending, and light lifting
• Some exposure to cleaning equipment, noise, and weather conditions
• A flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call support
