Area Manager
The primary role of the Area Manager is to lead, guide, and oversee the assigned region and its Property Managers. This involves effectively managing multiple sites and resources to achieve set objectives, ensuring properties are well-maintained, and addressing any issues that arise. All candidates must also be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.
Area Manager Reports to: Regional Vice President, Vice President of Operations and/or Chief Executive Officer
Direct Reports: Property Manager, and all onsite staff

This role may require travel of up to 75%, depending on the geographic distribution of the assigned portfolio. In cases where a portfolio is underperforming or in distress, travel requirements may increase to ensure timely oversight and effective resolution.

Rainey specializes in affordable and work-force housing across the nation. By having a specialty focus on work-force housing we help allow mid-income level residents the chance to live in quality, affordable homes near their jobs. This is small, yet unique subsidy designed for professionals earning around 80% of the area median income. The team prides itself on consistently providing a high level of service to the owners and residents of the communities we manage.
